Verdanta.tech

Verdanta.tech is a curated plant (bell pepper, Capsicum annuum) RNASeq database. It is currently an early startup initiative. See contact for the people behind.

  • Data sources. All datasets are obtained from public repositories and include complete reference information.

  • Curation. Datasets are manually reviewed; original publications are consulted whenever available.

  • Per-study quality control. Standardized QC is provided for every study, including FastQC reports and precomputed expression estimates generated with Salmon.

  • Structured search. Efficient search across curated categories: anatomy, genotype, phenotype, developmental stage, and stimulus, per run ID where relevant.

  • Granular selection. Select data at the level of individual sequencing runs (e.g., SRR IDs).

  • QC and expression access. Quality control reports and preprocessed expression data can be requested for selected datasets.

  • Eight curated Capsicum annuum transcriptomes are currently available.

The system is Free for academic use, both for students and researchers. Academic email automatically unlocks full access. If you do not have academic E-mail but still qualify, contact us grant the access manually.
